This tour takes you across the Gulf of Aqaba by boat to Jordan, where you will explore one of the most important archaeological sites in the Middle East, rich in Nabatean, Roman, and Byzantine history.
You will be collected from your hotel and drive to Nuweiba Marine, stopping in Dahab and Nuweiba to pick up other guests. Upon arrival, you will board the ferry boat to Jordan.
Upon arrival in Aqaba, you will meet your English-speaking guide and travel in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle to Petra.
Your tour begins on foot through the Siq, a narrow gorge over 1 km long, famous for its towering sandstone walls and dramatic formations. This canyon served as Petra’s hidden entrance for centuries.
At the end of the Siq, you will arrive at the iconic Treasury, carved directly into the cliff face. This breathtaking monument is one of the most recognized archaeological wonders in the world.
