Upon arrival at St. Catherine, explore one of the world’s most famous and oldest Christian monasteries, built between 527 and 565 AD around the site of the Burning Bush.
During your guided tour, visit the Greek Orthodox Church, ancient chapels, remarkable Byzantine mosaics, a priceless collection of icons, and the famous Mosaic of the Transfiguration. The monastery stands at an altitude of 1,570 meters, nestled between two majestic mountains, offering a peaceful and spiritual atmosphere.
After the visit, begin the return journey with a short stop in Dahab, where you will have free time for shopping before heading back to your hotel.
